Properties

This delicious fruit with greenish flesh is balanced from an acid / alkaline point of view. Rich in iron, copper, phosphorus, potassium, beta-carotene, folic acid, B vitamins, the antioxidants K and E, and monounsaturated fatty acids.

Both avocado and avocado oil are packed with different types of antioxidants like vitamin C, vitamin E, and beta-carotene. These antioxidants help fight free radicals within the body that can develop different diseases ranging from arthritis, eye diseases such as cataracts and even cancer; they also help lower high blood pressure.

Recommended Use

You can use it in the kitchen, like olive oil, although it has a more delicate taste and smell. You can also keep it on hand for salads or for tasty imaginative cooking recipes. There are studies that confer greater beneficial properties than olive oil because, in essence, it burns at a higher temperature. However, avocado oil is also breaking into herbalists and the pantries of those aware of a healthier life due to its medicinal and cosmetic benefits applied topically.

Para Cocinar

Avocado oil is an ideal option for cooking and, unlike others, it is extracted from a fruit and not from grains, in addition to maintaining all the benefits of avocado.

It is a product that offers a high index of unsaturated fats that the human body needs, in addition to protecting against cholesterol, it is an antioxidant and it contains many vitamins.

Now that olive oil has become fashionable, avocado oil is very similar, but it also has its differences, including its smoke point.

One of the problems with cooking with olive oil is that it begins to burn at a low temperature, while avocado tolerates a temperature of 260 ° C, making it very suitable for cooking.

There are people who say that an oil should not taste and others that the flavor adds a touch to food. Avocado oil is more neutral, its flavor is light and when dressing it does not add much flavor, that is why it is more recommended for cooking.

However, this product can be flavored with garlic, lemon, and other products to give it seasoning properties.
